Welcome to FatimaReservations.com. We present you with a comprehensive solution for marketing your property, accepting instant confirmed bookings, and managing your reservations and availability. We can enable you to accept true online bookings from your own website, in addition to reservations from our network. The first thing you should know is that our world class service is entirely online. You have no complex hardware requirements, software downloads, or upgrades. Our proprietary technology brings you one of the most cost-effective and value-added services available today. You will be pleased to know that our advanced tools are mostly free to use. So, there's no risk if you wish to try out our offerings. Our pricing is based on a commission structure which is at the industry low, empowering you to capture a greater margin for your business. 1.  Getting started   [ Top ]

To get started, you need to give us information about your property. Proceed to Add a Listing and fill out the detailed questionnaire. Your "listing" will include the information we use to advertise your property across our marketing network. It also includes key contact information. The more detail you provide, the more attractive your listing will be to viewers. You can even add photos, which will maximize the traffic your listing gets from potential guests. When you're finished, click Submit Property.

You have the option to list with multiple websites in our network simultaneously (just select the appropriate checkboxes on the questionnaire). This provides the benefit of multiplying your exposure and allows you to manage your listing from one location with one password. While you may decide not to list with all sites, some are required (e.g., InstantWorldBooking.com). We also automatically market your property through an extensive network of affiliate partners.

We will review your submission, usually within 24 - 48 hours, and send you a welcome email with your new ID and Password. This sign-in information will allow you to access all the features on our site related to your listing, including updates to your listing details, online availability, and reservations. To speed the review process, please follow our instructions and guidelines carefully when you fill out the online questionnaire. Contact information including email addresses, website URLs, and telephone numbers should only be included where instructed, and not added to the text content of a listing. Listings that do not meet these guidelines or are interpreted as spam may be rejected.

Important: Please make sure you set your email system to accept email from FatimaReservations.com and other sites you list with. If you have a spam filter, you may need to perform specific steps to un-block email from desired senders.

When you return to our site, you will now have full online access to update your listing as many times as you like. Proceed to Lodging Operators and enter your ID and Password. The first time you sign in you will be presented with your new listing information and asked to confirm it. It is a good idea to view your listing as it will appear to guests so that you will be able to fine tune your listing for public view. Make any desired changes on the screen and click Confirm. This will register your listing content as agreed by you, in addition to your agreement for FatimaReservations.com and affiliated websites to advertise your listing online and collect a deposit on reservations booked through our service (see Pricing and Terms & Conditions for additional information). If you chose to list with multiple websites, you only need to click Confirm once.

Lost your password? Simply proceed to Forgot Password and enter your primary email. We will re-send your password. You can also look for the Forgot Password link on the Lodging Operators page.

2.  Activating your listing   [ Top ]

You will need to add your availability online before your listing will be activated for display. Your initial addition of online inventory will immediately activate your listing for public view, and your listing will continue to display as long as you maintain inventory online (see Instant World Booking below for more information). To begin, simply sign in at the Lodging Operators page with your ID and Password. Then proceed to Inventory to create your online calendar of availability (see Managing online availability).

Important: Upon activation, your online inventory is available immediately for booking by guests on our network websites. It is your responsibility to ensure your inventory is accurate and that you honor all reservations booked through Instant World Booking. Once confirmed, you are responsible for the customer's reservation and all payments made in the event you are over-booked or unable to provide services contracted for (see Terms & Conditions for additional information).

To maximize your success, keep an extensive and complete inventory. If you allow your online availability to expire, we will send you a notice. Typically, if your listing lapses for more than two weeks in expired status, real-time booking (Instant World Booking) will be turned off, and you will be switched to request-only reservations. Simply add more availability to keep your listing available for real-time booking. If you do not replenish your inventory following notification, your listing may be cancelled. Unlike many services, we allow you to add availability for several years into the future, since our guests frequently seek lodging far in advance. If your property has seasonal closings, make sure you add inventory for the next season now to avoid the inconvenience of having Instant World Booking turned off.

3.  Managing your listing   [ Top ]

Your listing includes full online access to manage and update your property details. This means you can sign in as often as you like to make changes. Proceed to Lodging Operators and enter your ID and Password. Your sign-in is secure, employing the latest Secure Sockets Layer encryption protocol (SSL). When signing in you are immediately directed to the Manage Listing page, which details all your property information. Make any changes to your amenities, features, and services directly on the form. Include as much information as possible to enhance the appearance and appeal of your property to viewers. Adding photo files (JPEG format) helps to maximize your traffic. Submit your changes and view them immediately. If you need to make further changes, just return to the Manage Listing page as long as you are signed in.

If for any reason you wish to cancel your listing, simply send us an email. If you have not yet confirmed your listing, you can click De-activate on the confirmation page. There is no penalty or waiting period if you cancel your listing with FatimaReservations.com. Once cancelled, we no longer display or use your listing information and photos. If you use Instant World Booking to accept online reservations from your own website, that service will also be terminated if you cancel your listing.

4.  Real-time versus Request-only Reservations   [ Top ]

is FatimaReservations.com's premier real-time reservation service, featuring instant confirmed booking in a secure online environment for guests, fully-integrated inventory management, and credit card confirmations. Instant World Booking is the preferred method of working with us since it offers all the benefits of a true real-time process, maximizing online success for our lodging partners. You can easily accept online bookings from your own website, in addition to our network sites. Instant World Booking is offered at no cost to you.

We also feature request-only reservations with advanced automation. This traditional process facilitates communication between inquiring guests and lodging operators on a case by case basis. The time from initial inquiry to confirmation can range from hours to days, and is a less cost-effective means of attracting guests. Lodging operators should only consider request-only reservations if they absolutely require the ability to review and decide on every reservation prior to confirming it. Instant World Booking users who allow their availability to expire for more than 14 days will be switched by default to the request-only method, and cancellation of their listing will result if they do not replenish their inventory following notification.

6.  Managing online availability   [ Top ]

As a new user, you will activate your listing for public view by adding online availability. Just sign in to your listing at the Lodging Operators page, and proceed to the Inventory page to begin adding your availability. Your initial addition of online availability activates your listing. After activating your listing, you are ready to start accepting reservations immediately. For all users, the Inventory page (only available when you're signed in) also presents a number of powerful yet easy tools for reviewing and managing your online calendar of availability.

Your inventory is organized by accommodation-type/rate (e.g., Double room/100 USD). For example, if you have Double rooms at 100, 120, and 140 USD, these represent 3 rates that can be managed individually. Adding a Triple room at 140 USD effectively adds a fourth rate to manage. Managing online availability involves first creating your accommodation-types. Once created, they can be quickly modified in several ways including a) adding or deleting available units, b) changing rates, or c) adding or changing rate options (e.g., meal plans, etc.).

Adding New Accommodations and Rates

Add Room & Rate allows you to create a new accommodation type. As a new user, use this function to create your initial inventory. Later, you may use this function to add new accommodation types. Select a room type from the pull-down list, or enter a new one. The available types in the pull-down list are taken from your listing, and when you add a new one, it will also appear on your listing. Select Room for private accommodation or Bed for shared accommodation or per-person rates of any kind. You will be presented with a page where you will enter all the details for the room type you are adding. Enter the # rooms/beds you want to add initial availability for (you can update this later). Select a range of dates to add your initial availability for. You can add availability for an entire range, or limit your selection to specific weekdays.

Tip: enter a wide range of dates for your initial inventory. It's easier to go back and modify for specific dates later.

You may also enter how many beds the room type contains. For example, a Double room may contain 1 or 2 beds. Similarly, you may be adding availability for a Dorm that contains 10 rooms. Please specify the number of beds this type of accommodation contains. Also indicate if the accommodation at the specified rate includes meals (e.g., bed & breakfast), private or shared bath, and linens (for per-bed rates only).

Tip: Don't include the number of beds in the name of your accommodation type. You will specify the number of beds when you create the type (e.g., name your room "Double", not "Double 2 beds").

If you wish to specify an optional rate plan for meals, you may do so by entering the total rate for each optional plan you wish to make available. For example, if you specify a rate of 100.00 for a room including breakfast, you may specify that the rate upgraded to a full-board plan is 115.00, or that the rate excluding meals is 90.00. If you specify an optional rate plan, the guest will be able to select the plan as an option when reserving the accommodation. If you do not wish to specify an optional rate plan, leave these fields blank.

Finally, if you have minimum or maximum stay requirements, you may add them. Please use these requirements sparingly, since they will limit the availability presented to your prospective guests for certain dates.

Changing Availability

Update Inventory can be used to make any inventory or rate changes right on a detailed calendar representation of your availability. This function is best used when you have a very specific set of dates or small number of changes you wish to make. You can view periods of one week to three months at a time. Select the number of units to add or subtract for each day you wish to change. For example, using the -/+ pulldown box, select +3 to add three units to your availability for that date. Check the All days checkbox to modify all the dates displayed on your screen. Finally, click Quick Update to save your changes. To remove all available units for the dates shown on your screen, simply click Remove Rate.

Quick Update is a powerful function that enables you to swiftly make any change to your availability, except changing rates, which is described below. Use select to select the number of units you wish to add or subtract from your current inventory. For example, if you currently have 10 units available, and you select -2, 8 units will remain available. Check the BLOCK OUT (delete) selected dates checkbox if you wish to remove availability for (block out) a particular rate from a range of dates. Check ERASE RATE completely from inventory to erase the rate completely from your calendar. Finally, click Quick Update to save your changes.

A unique feature of Quick Update is that you can quickly make changes to specific weekdays across large date ranges. For example, if you wish to block out weekends for the next six months, simply select the date range and click the checkboxes for Friday and Saturday. The changes you save will only effect Fridays and Saturdays within the dates you chose. This feature is also available on other Inventory functions.

Here's an example of how Quick Update can save you a great deal of time and effort managing your calendar. Let's say you have 10 rooms available to add for the next 12 months, but only wish to add 8 rooms on Fridays and Saturdays. First, add the 10 rooms for the full 12 month period. Then go back and subtract 2 rooms for the same range of dates, this time selecting Fridays and Saturdays only. This method saves you the time of entering each week individually.

Changing Rates

Change Rate is very similar to Quick Update, and allows you to quickly modify rates for virtually any customized range of dates. To replace an entire rate for all dates, select the Replace for ALL dates checkbox. To change a rate only for selected dates, specify the dates you wish to change. Finally, click Change Rate to save your changes.

Update Inventory can also be used to change rates right on a detailed calendar representation of your availability. This function is best used when you have a very specific set of dates or small number of changes you wish to make. You can view periods of one week to three months at a time. Next to the Change Rate button, check the dates you wish to change. Enter the new rate and click the Change Rate button to save your changes. You can also change rates for all dates displayed on the page by checking the All box.

Changing Rate Options

Rate Options is a function you can use to add or modify optional rate plans and features. These include optional rates for meal plans and minimum/maximum stay limits. For example, if your base rate for an accommodation with breakfast is 100.00, you may specify that upgrading to a full board plan will be 115.00, and the same room with no meals is 90.00. This allows maximum flexibility to guests who may select the plan they want at time of confirmation. Similarly, you may specify that an accommodation has a minimum stay limit of n days, and a maximum stay limit as well. We recommend using stay limits sparingly, since they will limit the availability presented to your prospective guests for certain dates.

Below the Rate Options function, you will see a list of any optional rate plans or features you currently have linked to your inventory, if any. You may Add new options, Change options, or Remove options with this function. This function works much the same as the functions described above. If you add a new option, select the accommodation type and rate you wish to link the new option to, select the date range and the features you are adding, then click the Rate Options button to save your changes. To change or remove options already present, select the option from the list, then select Change or Remove, and click the Rate Options button to save your changes.

Tip: if you are unsure of an option that already exists, or how you wish to modify it, you can always remove the option, then add a new one.

If you wish to see a calendar representation of which rate options apply to your inventory for specific dates, use the View Inventory function.

Viewing Inventory

View Inventory allows you to display a detailed calendar representation of your current availability. You can select the accommodation types you wish to view, or view all of them at once. You can also select the view period ranging from one week to three months starting from any date. You cannot modify inventory with this function.

Synchronizing Inventory

Synchronize appears only for properties that have listings on more than one site in our network. This function should rarely be necessary, if ever. Listings on multiple sites (with identical property and city names) are synchronized. This means that inventory you add or manage from one site will be automatically updated on all other sites. If in the process of managing your inventory, you receive a message on your screen indicating that a change could not be completed on all sites, it is possible that the change you were trying to make failed. You will want to click the Synchronize button to ensure that listings on all sites in our network have the same inventory.

An important and convenient feature of Instant World Booking is that the inventory you manage from one site is simultaneously updated on all other network sites you list your property with. Multiply your exposure by adding your listing to all relevant network websites. Sign in and proceed to Manage Listing.

7.  How Instant World Booking works   [ Top ]

Your online inventory of accommodation is available immediately for booking on our network websites, as well as an extensive network of affiliate partners. It is your responsibility to ensure your inventory is accurate and that you honor all reservations booked through Instant World Booking.

Instant World Booking uses proprietary algorithms to match your availability with a prospective guest's online search for accommodation. Unlike most services, these algorithms optimize the suitability and availability of units presented to the guest. For example, where consecutive nights in one particular room type are unavailable, Instant World Booking will propose combinations of available room types to meet the guest's needs, along with a personalized rate breakdown and information about switching rooms mid-stay. In this scenario, you get the booking, while most services would simply show no availability.

Guests can get your rates and availability with one click and then select from your available accommodations for the dates they choose. They can even view your rates converted to their own currency. If you have no availability for a given date, or your minimum stay limits are not met, the guest is prompted to try again. When units are selected for booking, any optional rate plans are presented, and the guest chooses a rate for confirmation.

Under certain circumstances, when a guest requests rates for a date that is beyond your range of availability online, we will send you an email notice indicating what dates guests are looking for. This information is part of our value-added service, and you should increase or extend your availability online if possible.

Reservation Confirmation
When booking a reservation, a secure page is displayed with all the details necessary for a guest to confirm their reservation. Details of the accommodation, price, and payment information are all provided on this page. The guest will enter their credit/debit card and personal contact information required for confirmation. Instant World Booking uses 128-bit SSL protocol to ensure the security of the client's transaction (see our privacy policy for more information on our security practices). We pre-authorize every guest's billing information, saving you the time and cost of authorizing credit cards.

Confirmation Payments
To confirm a reservation, the guest pays a non-refundable deposit and service charge to FatimaReservations.com. For preferred status partners, the deposit represents 8% of the total cost of accommodation, and is retained by FatimaReservations.com. The service charge is $10.00 per room booked (or $0.75 per bed for shared accommodation). These payments are made to FatimaReservations.com in US Dollars. The remaining balance of 92% of the cost of accommodation is made directly by the guest to the lodging operator. For example, if your published rate is 100.00, then FatimaReservations.com will collect a deposit of 8.00 for a one night booking, and you will receive 92.00.

Preferred status partners benefit from the lowest available commission rate of 8%. To attain preferred status, newly listed partners must complete 12 bookings in full compliance with our terms & conditions at 10% commission rate. In the month following completion of these initial reservations, listings are automatically upgraded to preferred status, and the commission rate lowered to 8% for the life of the listing. Properties must maintain full compliance with our terms and conditions to maintain preferred status.

One of the great features of Instant World Booking is that we collect and retain a deposit from the guest. You never have to pay us any commissions.

Payment Policy
The 92% balance is paid to you in your desired currency. By default, the guest will pay you on arrival. However, Instant World Booking gives you the flexibility to maintain your own payment and deposit policies when you work with us. We recognize that our lodging partners around the globe have widely varying payment policies. If you specify in your payment/deposit policy in your FatimaReservations.com listing that you will collect a portion of the payment prior to arrival, then you may use the guest's credit card information (provided by FatimaReservations.com during confirmation) to charge the guest according to your policy. If you require payment other than by credit/debit card, we recommend you specify this directly in your listing, and contact the guest directly following a confirmation.

Cancellation Policy
As with payment policies, FatimaReservations.com offers you a much more flexible cancellation policy than most other services. While we recommend that you limit your cancellation penalty to one night's charge if cancelled within 48 hours of arrival, we allow you to enforce your own cancellation and no-show policies. Guests using Instant World Booking agree to be bound by your disclosed cancellation policy. Please include your policy, if any, on your FatimaReservations.com listing. If a guest cancels a reservation or is a no-show, you have the right to charge the guest's credit/debit card (or retain other deposits you receive) based on your stated policy. Please note that FatimaReservations.com facilitates your reservation contract with the guest, and is not responsible for any cancellation or no-show fees. Nor is the deposit that we collect payable to you in such circumstances.

Credit Card Guarantee
With every Instant World Booking confirmation, we collect the guest's credit/debit card and contact information. This information is used to charge the deposit and service charge, and is made available to you to guarantee the reservation. Please note that we pre-authorize every credit/debt card prior to confirmation, so you have the assurance that their billing information is valid. This is also a cost-savings to you since it is not necessary for you to pre-authorize card transactions. You may access the guest's credit card information by signing in at our website. FatimaReservations.com employs 128-bit SSL protocol to ensure the security of our client's personal information.

Confirmation Notifications
Following payment of the non-refundable deposit, a confirmation is issued online to the guest, providing details of the reservation and the payment to be made to the lodging operator. The guest is advised to print the confirmation to present to you on arrival. Both you and the guest receive immediate notification of this confirmation by email (please see sample email confirmation to lodging operators). You should make sure that your email system is accepting mail from FatimaReservations.com. Notification of new reservations will also be communicated online when you sign in at our website. Credit card billing information is not transmitted by email. You will need to sign in and retrieve that information online at our website.

As part of the confirmation information provided, we may also include the guest's email address. Some lodging operators require this information to communicate with the guest regarding special services or arrival details. Note: It is not necessary for you to send a separate confirmation to the guest since our Instant World Booking confirmation includes all the details the guest will require. While left to your discretion, FatimaReservations.com does not recommend your use of the guest's email address unless necessary, and we encourage you to apply best practices (see our privacy policy) in respecting the guest's privacy.

After a new reservation is communicated to you, there is nothing more you need to do. The reservation has been automatically confirmed by Instant World Booking, and the process is complete. You may review past and current reservations by signing in at our website and navigating to the Reservations page.

Your Responsibility
The online inventory you maintain on your listing is always available for booking by guests on our network websites. You will not be notified of a new reservation until it has already been confirmed by FatimaReservations.com to the guest based on your online availability, and the respective deposit collected. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure your inventory is accurate and that you honor all reservations confirmed through Instant World Booking. Once a reservation is confirmed, in the event you are over-booked or otherwise unable to accommodate the guest, you are responsible for all payments made and managing the guest's booking (see Terms & Conditions for additional information).

8.  Tips for maximizing Instant World Booking traffic   [ Top ]

FatimaReservations.com recommends the following steps for maximizing your traffic and success with Instant World Booking reservations. As always, our service is totally free for you to use:

  • Maximize your inventory available to guests. Online travel buyers look for flexibility in dates, and frequently book multiple units at once. If you don't have the availability, they will search elsewhere.
  • One or two months of availability are not enough. Extend your inventory at least into next year or beyond. Our guests seek reservations far in advance of arrival.
  • Adding photos to your listing will increase traffic 3x to 4x. Your photo will display right on our directory pages (other services charge extra for this).
  • Use minimum stay limits sparingly. They will limit the availability presented to your guests.
  • Add your listing to our network sites (see bottom of this page) for increased visibility. Instant World Booking allows you to manage your inventory across all sites from just one site.
  • If you plan a seasonal closing, or just have blocks of time with no vacancy, be sure to add some online availability beyond these dates to avoid interruptions in your service.
  • Keep your listing up to date with comprehensive information about your property. Check for spelling errors, which reduce the appeal of your listing.

For the largest boost in traffic, accept online bookings from your own website with Instant World Booking. For many lodging properties, most of your visibility with online guests actually comes from your own website. If you don't offer instant booking capability on your site, you may lose up to 85% of your website traffic with visitors who expect instant confirmation, and quickly move on to search and book elsewhere. We provide the capability to easily accept true online bookings from your website. Even if you already accept online bookings, you may realize a large cost savings by switching to Instant World Booking, since we offer the most advanced solution at an industry-low rate.

As a final tip, if you've paid higher commissions elsewhere, consider lowering your rate on FatimaReservations.com and maintaining the same profit level. Online buyers are savvy and compare for the lowest internet rate. Many other services advertise that they have the "lowest internet rate." We will not make such claims, but leave the price comparing to our smart clients.

9.  Request-Only reservations   [ Top ]

FatimaReservations.com offers the most technically advanced and automated process available for request-only reservations with secure online credit card confirmation. While Instant World Booking is the preferred method, the request-only alternative offers fully-automated communication between inquiring guests and lodging operators on a case by case basis. The request-only process is offered as an option to lodging partners who cannot for various reasons maintain inventory online.

The time from initial inquiry to confirmation can range from hours to days (primarily based on your response time). Since guests searching for travel on the internet expect quick information, the effectiveness of request-only reservations may vary.

Here's how Request-only reservations work:

Whenever a guest requests a new reservation, you will receive an email from FatimaReservations.com. In the email, you will find details of the requested reservation and instructions on how to respond (see sample reservation email). Most important, a link is provided to take you to our online response page (see sample response page). Here you can accept or decline reservation requests with one click. This is the only method of responding to reservations, as our system will not accept email replies. To see if you have any pending reservation requests, you may also sign in at our website and navigate to the Reservations page.

To accept the reservation, you enter your proposed rate and any other reservation particulars. When accepting a reservation, we require that you guarantee your availability for a minimum of 24 hours until the guest responds. If the guest wishes to confirm at your proposed rate, they will provide a secure credit card confirmation and pay a deposit of 8% of the total reservation to FatimaReservations.com (see Confirmation Payments below for more on rates). The remaining balance will be payable to you on or before arrival. If you don't have availability for the requested reservation, you may propose alternate dates or simply decline the booking.

Important: If you opt for request-only reservations, please make sure you set your email system to accept email from FatimaReservations.com and InstantWorldBooking.com. Many spam filters require you to perform specific steps to un-block email from desired senders. New reservation requests will be communicated to you only by email, or by signing in at our website.

After you have accepted a reservation, you will receive a second email confirming the booking (usually within 24-48 hours) once the guest's payment and credit card details have been received. If the guest fails to confirm the reservation, and cancels their request, you will also receive immediate notification, and you may release the accommodation. In fact, we keep you constantly informed by email of any status updates during the confirmation process. So, there's no need for checking back online to search for status updates. However, please check your email frequently to stay informed. Please note that on reservations originating from some network sites, you may receive status emails from InstantWorldBooking.com.

Following confirmation by the guest, you may retrieve the credit card details from our website. We do not send billing information in emails. Simply click the link provided in our confirmation email or sign in at our website to view this information. Once you have the guest's credit card information, there is no further action required.

With request-only reservations, payment and cancellation policies are substantially the same as with our premier Instant World Booking service:

Confirmation Payments
To confirm a reservation, the guest pays a non-refundable deposit and service charge to FatimaReservations.com. For preferred status partners, the deposit represents 8% of the total cost of accommodation, and is retained by FatimaReservations.com. The service charge is $10.00 per room booked (or $0.75 per bed for shared accommodation). These payments are made to FatimaReservations.com in US Dollars. The remaining balance of 92% of the cost of accommodation is made directly by the guest to the lodging operator. For example, if your published rate is 100.00, then FatimaReservations.com will collect a deposit of 8.00 for a one night booking, and you will receive 92.00.

Preferred status partners benefit from the lowest available commission rate of 8%. To attain preferred status, newly listed partners must complete 12 bookings in full compliance with our terms & conditions at 10% commission rate. In the month following completion of these initial reservations, listings are automatically upgraded to preferred status, and the commission rate lowered to 8% for the life of the listing. Properties must maintain full compliance with our terms and conditions to maintain preferred status.

Payment Policy
The 92% balance is paid to you in your desired currency. By default, the guest will pay you on arrival. However, you have the the flexibility to maintain your own payment and deposit policies when you work with us. If you specify in your payment/deposit policy in your FatimaReservations.com listing that you will collect a portion of the payment prior to arrival, then you may use the guest's credit card information (provided by FatimaReservations.com during confirmation) to charge the guest according to your policy. If you require payment other than by credit/debit card, we recommend you specify this directly in your listing, and contact the guest directly following a confirmation.

Cancellation Policy
While we recommend that you limit your cancellation penalty to one night's charge if cancelled within 48 hours of arrival, we allow you to enforce your own cancellation and no-show policies. Guests booking through our service agree to be bound by your disclosed cancellation policy. Please include your policy, if any, on your FatimaReservations.com listing. If a guest cancels a reservation or is a no-show, you have the right to charge the guest's credit/debit card (or retain other deposits you receive) based on your stated policy. Please note that FatimaReservations.com facilitates your reservation contract with the guest, and is not responsible for any cancellation or no-show fees. Nor is the deposit that we collect payable to you in such circumstances.

Your Responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that you honor all reservations confirmed through our service. In the event you are over-booked or otherwise unable to accommodate a guest with a confirmed reservation, you may decline the confirmation. However, if the guest confirmed the reservation within 24 hours following your original acceptance (the minimum period you agreed to hold availability), you are responsible for all payments made by the guest (see Terms & Conditions for additional information). When signing in to retrieve the guest's confirmation details from our website, you are presented with an option for declining the confirmed reservation, if necessary.

If during the confirmation process you wish to check reservation status online, you may do so at any time. Just return to the Lodging Operators page, and look for the "Check Request-only Reservations" box. Enter the Reservation ID and Unique Timestamp included in the reservation email (Tip: you can also click the link provided in the email to instantly check status online). Additionally, you may check for any pending reservation requests you may have by signing in at our website and navigating to the Reservations page. There you may also review all past and current reservations.

As mentioned above, success with request-only reservations varies and depends largely on the speed of your response to requests. If you are not prepared to monitor your email frequently for requests and notices (at the very minimum daily), then many reservation opportunities may be lost to other lodgings. If you fail to respond to a reservation request, it will be cancelled by our system, typically within 48 hours. Even if you respond promptly to new requests, you can expect a lower volume than if using Instant World Booking. A large percentage of guests seeking accommodation on the internet will only book if immediate confirmation is available. FatimaReservations.com monitors your response rate. Your failure to respond promptly to reservation requests may result in your listing being de-activated, or a requirement to use the Instant World Booking service to keep your listing active. Again, Instant World Booking is the most efficient and cost-effective way for you to build reservation traffic online.

To get started with request-only reservations, you simply add your listing to FatimaReservations.com (see Getting Started above). Once you receive your ID and Password, please send an email to service@fatimareservations.com to request activation of your listing for request-only reservations..

10.  Viewing your reservations   [ Top ]

Viewing your reservation activity and status is easy with our advanced reporting functionality, which is available all from one page. Sign in at the Lodging Operators page and proceed to Reservations. There you will find a summary of your active reservations and have quick access to new Instant World Booking reservations (i.e., new unviewed reservations since your last sign-in). Simply click on any new reservation to view the details and retrieve the guest's billing information. For all other reservations, you can run a report by check-in date or confirmation date. Reports display all Instant World Booking details in one of two custom formats.

For request-only listings, the Reservations page will also display any new pending requests that require your response. Just click on the request to go directly to our online response page. For newly confirmed request-only reservations, you are also alerted to review the customer credit card confirmation details. Click on those reservations to retrieve this information. For all other confirmed reservations, you have the same advanced reporting functionality as available for Instant World Booking.

With FatimaReservations.com you never have to worry about losing your reservation records. We retain all information about past and present bookings in our database, and you can return to the Reservations page at any time to run historical reports. We also present for you payment details including rate breakdowns, guest deposits, and amounts payable (the amount due to you by the guest). We also summarize for you useful information such as total value of reservations booked through our service for any period report you run.

Your listing with FatimaReservations.com is completely free of charge. Accepting online bookings from your website
In combination with your free listing, FatimaReservations.com also offers the optional capability to accept online bookings from your own website (either true instant bookings or request-only method). This service is completely free of charge. For confirmed reservations originating from your website, there is a nominal commission of only 1.9% on the total cost of accommodation (after a $100 annual minimum at the regular 8% rate). This commission is retained from an upfront deposit collected from the guest by FatimaReservations.com. Therefore, you never make any payments to FatimaReservations.com.
